…The only thing that exceeded the physical facilities was the warmth and superior hospitality of the family and staff.  The Marovitch’s are wonderful people, who truly went out of their way to male our stay at Maromac the best it could be.  The staff was there for us day and night, to help us set up whatever we needed and even to participate in our “talent show.”

I would recommend MaroMac to anyone who is looking for a retreat venue to take children, family, business and anything in between.

Dear Mr. Marovitch,

I wanted to thank you for accommodating our student leadership program last month.  Our 26 students certainly enjoyed their stay.  The large cozy meeting room, with its fireplace and stage, provided an excellent venue for our group discussions and activities. The dining room was spacious, very clean and the food was fabulous and plentiful.  We also really appreciated the snacks which magically appeared throughout the workshop.  The dorms and washrooms were pleasant and clean and the décor of the main lodge was tasteful and comfortable.  The staff was there any time we needed them, but gave us the space we needed to run our own program.  My only regret is that we didn’t get to swim or paddle in that spectacular lake.  Oh well, next time!  We will certainly think of returning to Maromac for future student or staff training.  Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality and for sharing the interesting story of your historic lodge.
